Asunción, IP Agency.- With the aim of strengthening connectivity in the department of Itapúa, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) improved several local roads, promoting better passability for some 2,490 residents distributed in 11 districts.
The interventions included restoration and profiling of platforms in key areas. In Natalio, these tasks benefited 180 people, while in Yatytay, the “San Francisco, San Gerónimo” section was improved, positively impacting about 380 inhabitants.
Similar works were carried out in Alto Vera and San Pedro del Paraná, optimizing the displacement of 460 and 200 residents, respectively.
In Section 2 – Trinidad, a surface coating was carried out on the platform in José Leandro Oviedo, benefiting 100 citizens.
Additionally, in San Pedro del Paraná ditches were cleaned and formed, while in Trinidad and Hohenau the platform was outlined to improve circulation.
Section 3 – Carlos Antonio López saw the restoration of the platform in San Lorenzo and Puerto López, benefiting 250 residents of the area.
The MOPC emphasizes that these improvements not only increase the passability of roads, but also raise the quality of life of citizens, facilitating access to essential services and promoting community development in the region.
