Asuncion, IP Agency.- Officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Communications deployed their machinery to improve unpaved roads and thus improved access for more than 700 families in the department of Amambay, and not only facilitate the transportation of products and materials, but have a positive impact on the lives of the inhabitants of the region.
Within this framework, the patching and improvement of the platform with a motor grader was carried out on the Colonia Unida – San Isidro section, in the municipality of Bella Vista Norte.

District 3 personnel rehabilitated a total of 39.20 kilometers at various points, significantly improving access to essential services and economic opportunities for thousands of mountain residents.
In the towns of Nueva Colombia and Isla Alta, the daily repair of 3 kilometers of a steep road not only facilitated traffic, but also brought residents closer to crucial health services in case of emergency.
Likewise, the work on the Juan de Mena – Cleto Romero section benefited students who use this route daily to get to their schools, ensuring that education is not affected by road conditions.
In Atyra and its surroundings, the rehabilitation of dirt roads will have a direct impact on the local economy, facilitating the transport of agricultural products to markets and strengthening the regional production chain.
Furthermore, the construction of a retaining wall on the Caacupé – Azcurra route not only increases road safety, but also ensures a vital connection between these towns, boosting tourism and local commerce.
