Starting from 10th place, New Zealander Nick Cassidy navigated a complicated event to sign an impressive victory at the Portland E-Prix on Saturday in the Formula E world championship.

The race was presented on TVA Sports and on TVA Sports Direct. Watch the final lap of the race in the main video.

This is a third victory in 2023 for the rider from the Envision team, at the 12th event of a season which has 16.

Cassidy was able to resist the onslaught of Briton Jake Dennis (Avalanche Andretti) in the last lap, in particular, in order to confirm his victory. The Portuguese Antonio Félix da Costa (Porsche) completed the podium.

The event was marked by a long neutralization under yellow flag following the Swiss Nico Muller (ABT Cupra) on the 11th lap hit the wall head-on. The pilot, however, was not injured in the crash.
