Pyrex utensils are one of the most useful kitchen materials, and in order to use these utensils in the best possible way, and to prevent the accumulation of grease in them, we will give you several tips for using pyrex, to keep them as long as possible.
1- Pyrex utensils are safe for use in the oven and microwave only, not over the stove.
2- Do not use pyrex pans on the barbecue grill.
3- Make sure the oven is well heated before inserting the pyrex pans into it.
4- If you are using a type of glass other than the Pyrex brand, we advise you not to put it in an oven with a temperature of more than 220 degrees Celsius.
5- Do not add liquids to hot pyrex pots.
6- Do not use pyrex in the microwave oven.
7- Add liquids to the pyrex bowl before adding the ingredients.
8- Use a heat protectant on surfaces and heat-resistant gloves when handling hot pyrex.
9- Do not use pyrex utensils to make popcorn in the microwave.
10- Add enough liquid in the bowl before placing it in the microwave, and it should not be empty or almost empty.
11-Do not overheat liquids in pyrex pots.
12- Defrost the frozen ingredients before adding them to cooking in the pyrex pan.
13-Do not use the pyrex pot if it falls hard on the ground, or is damaged by the use of other cooking utensils.
14- Do not use pyrex utensils if they are scratched, cracked or broken.
15-Clean the pyrex pans with a nylon loofah and use a gentle cleaning soap to wash the pyrex pans.
Finally, cleaning pyrex utensils is fairly easy, you should always wash pyrex glass cookware by hand, using dishwashing soap and a non-abrasive sponge, and putting pyrex utensils in the dishwasher will not damage them, but cleaning them manually is better.
