Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman casted his vote in his native village of Abdul Khel where Mufti Asad Mahmood Tank/DI Khan is a candidate from NA-43 constituency.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman is contesting from NA-44, JUI chief’s second son Asjad Mehmood is contesting from NA-41 Lucky Marwat.

Shahbaz Sharif
President Muslim League (N) Shehbaz Sharif cast his vote in National Assembly Constituency NA-128 Model Town in Lahore.

Shehbaz Sharif said that if the people give Nawaz Sharif a chance, they will change the destiny of the country together, remove hatred, Transparency International has appreciated our performance, so it has increased the prestige of Pakistan.

He further said that the opportunity to serve the people again is in the hands of Allah, today the destiny of Pakistan is in the hands of the people.

Shahbaz Sharif said that such a government should come into existence which will shower the flowers of love and goodwill in Pakistan, this great land will be lush with love from time immemorial. Unemployment and poverty will end.

Murtaza Solangi
Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi has cast his vote.

Information Minister Murtaza Solangi reached the polling station at 8 am, on this occasion he said that voting is a national duty to be done by every responsible citizen, free and transparent elections strengthen democracy.

Murtaza Solangi further said that people must vote for a bright future, the voting process will be completed in a peaceful and orderly manner.

Mustafa Nawaz KhokhR
Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, an independent candidate from National Assembly Constituency NA 47 and 48 from Islamabad cast his vote.

Today more than 12 crore 85 lakh voters will choose candidates in 855 constituencies of national and provincial assemblies.

This time, the highest number of 17 thousand 816 candidates in the history of the country, 882 female candidates and 4 transgenders are also contesting for general seats, 5121 candidates have entered the field for the National Assembly.

There are 6710 candidates for Punjab Assembly, 1834 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 1237 for Balochistan Assembly and 2878 for Sindh Assembly.

90 thousand 675 polling stations have been set up across the country for the general elections, out of which 27 thousand 628 are sensitive and 18 thousand 437 have been declared as highly sensitive.
