PTI leader and former federal minister Murad Saeed’s father filed an application in Peshawar High Court for interim bail and details of cases, in which federal and provincial governments, defense secretary, NAB, FIA and police have been made parties. .
The application was heard in front of Justice Ejaz Khan, in which the lawyer said that the government should be stopped from arresting Murad Saeed, the details of the cases should be given.
The Additional Advocate General said that Qazi Anwar had already made a case for Murad Saeed, the High Court had said that Murad Saeed did not appear in the court and therefore did not give relief, this request was also given by Murad Saeed’s father. The lawyer said that Murad Saeed cannot come because there is a fear of arrest.
Justice Ejaz Khan asked how long can the details of the cases be given? On this, the Additional Advocate General said that he will give the details in a week. Later, the court reserved its decision on Murad Saeed’s interim bail application while seeking the details of the cases from the government within a week.
