The construction group Implenia is pleased to have won a contract with Norwegian railway infrastructure manager Bane NOR on Monday.
The project, with a volume of 1.8 billion Norwegian crowns (approximately 190 million francs), concerns the construction of a two-track railway bridge.
The Tangenvika railway structure, more than a kilometer long, is a “complex and exciting” project, said the Zurich conglomerate in a press release.
The construction aims for the least possible impact on the environment around Lake Mjøsa, the largest in the country, in particular by planning the storage and use of excavation materials in such a way as to reduce transport routes as much as possible.
The work should start before the end of the current quarter and last until 2027, specifies Implenia.
