Cody Deaner is backstage with Joe Doring and says he hasn’t seen Eric Young so they have to represent VDB alone. Cody Deaner tells Joe Doering that this is also a chance to prove yourself.

Chris Sabin is backstage telling Scott D’Amore to please consider him when determining the next Number #1 Contender. Sabin says he felt something when he had the Impact Wrestling World Championship in his hands. D’Amore replies to Sabin that he will allow him to earn a match for the World Championship. Scott D’Amore goes on to say that Alex Shelley was also very successful in her tag team match today, so the two will go head-to-head next week to determine the new #1 contender.
