Trey Miguel defeated Alex Shelley via a pinfall following a roll-in.

– With Trey Miquel, another participant for the Ultimate X Match at “Slammiversary 2022” has been confirmed.

Gia Miller interviews The Briscoes and Josh Alexander backstage. Miller asks her regarding her thoughts on her upcoming match tonight. The Briscoes say to Violent By Design that they usually outnumber them, but tonight The Briscoes have help. Josh Alexander says that while Eric Young has a history as a champion, to reclaim the Impact World Championship he will need to be better than ever. Josh Alexander then leaves the scene. The Good Brothers then show up and tell Mark and Jay Briscoe that they won’t be considered true tag team champions until they defeat The Good Brothers. To which Jay Briscoe replies, “The Briscoes will make it count.”

Masha Slamovich defeated Havok via a pinfall following the snow plow.

Rich Swann is backstage challenging Matt Cardona once more. Swann tells Cardona to stop running away. He then targets Matthew Rehwoldt for eliminating him in the Gauntlet for the Gold match. Rich Swann tells him that he doesn’t care how long it takes because Swann will get his revenge.

Now Deonna Purrazzo is backstage with Gia Miller. Purrazzo says she’s the face of the Impact Knockouts division, whether or not she’s the Impact Knockouts Championesse is or not. Deonna Purrazzo promises to make history, Tasha Steelz walks in and says she’s the only knockout to make history following winning the first-ever Knockouts X-Division match. She goes on to say that she’s not here to start a fight and that while she and Purrazzo aren’t friends, they have a common enemy and her name is Mia Yim.

Frankie Kazarian vs. Chris Sabin ended in a no-contest following Honor No More attacked both wrestlers.

Moving on following the advert, Honor No More are backstage wondering why Impact is allowed to celebrate a 20th anniversary following 20 years of disrespecting talent. Vincent asks what exactly is being celebrated here. Eddie Edwards says 20 years of disrespect and lies to this industry and especially to Honor No More. Heath and Rhino walk in and say they all sound “stupid”. Heath says the members of Honor No More were fired and marginalized, just like Heath, but Impact gave him a chance, just like Honor No More. Rhino says Impact was the only promotion that gave him a chance back in 2005. Rhino tells Honor No More to stop complaining. Suddenly a big argument breaks out between the parties and security staff come to prevent worse things from happening.

W. Morrissey & Bhupinder Gujjar beat Raj Singh & Shera via pinfall following Bhupinder Gujjar speared Raj Singh.

Gia Miller has Moose as a Alex Reed and asks him regarding his upcoming tag team match next week and the possibility of Sami Callihan getting involved. Steve Maclin walks in and tells Moose he needs to get Sami Callihan out of his head. Moose replies that Callihan isn’t on his mind and he’s ready. There is a strange technical glitch and Moose suddenly becomes very scared and acts anxious, ending this segment.

Violent By Design (Eric Young, Cody Deaner & Joe Doering) defeated Josh Alexander & The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) via pinfall following Eric Young piledrived Mark Briscoe.
