Most video games follow the same pattern that the player moves as the protagonist of the game within a world made on the PC. But the Immortality game is different, as it is more like an interactive movie than a traditional game.

The events of the game were filmed using real actors in pre-recorded movie scenes. Players can choose shots, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage from three fictional films that have not been shown before in cinemas. The goal is to find out what happened to the young movie star, actress Marisa Marcel, who disappeared at the beginning of the game.

The player does not watch the footage from start to finish, but rather has to do a lot of detective work.

The player can also stop displaying the shot at any moment in order to search for clues in it or check the faces and objects in it where he can click on any face or object in order to display more clips.

The player has to figure out how to gather the plot threads at the end and where the next clue disappears, and the only help the player gets is the shots he chooses to save.

The game looks like an interesting movie, while trying to uncover the truth behind the mysterious life of the missing actress, it takes a lot of patience and thought, but it is a unique experience and the results are wonderful.
