When Yuko, who had given birth at her hometown, and her newborn daughter Haruka returned to their home in Yachiyo City, they made the following appeal:

March 2013: Going to the bakery with my 2-year-old daughter
I went to the bakery with my daughter for an early morning breakfast date.
I finally got my hands on the rabbit bread and my daughter and I happily munched on it together with big smiles.
I finished my daytime political activities early and went to Sumida Aquarium late in the evening.
I fell into a deep sleep in the car on the way home.

November 2017: Running with my daughter who is working hard. I was so happy.

Tanabata. I found a piece of paper with the message “May my family live long lives and break the Guinness World Record.” It was written by my daughter, so I’m going to have a medical checkup soon.

March 2023: Elementary school graduation
The other day, I attended my daughter’s elementary school graduation ceremony. When the graduates started singing the school song, I almost burst into tears. The last three years have been a COVID-19 pandemic. I think they’ve done well. Children grow up so quickly, and even though there are lots of funny little episodes, they gradually forget them.
X contains many adorable stories of exchanges between Congressman Kobayashi and his daughter, and reading them made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Takayuki Kobayashi’s father was Yasuyoshi Kobayashi, a salaried worker at a trading company.

During his career, his employer went bankrupt, and he often came home exhausted in the middle of the night.
He joined Noda Co., Ltd. in 2000 at the age of 58 and became a director in 2002.
He was appointed as a permanent auditor in 2008 and served in that position until February 2012 (at the age of 70).
He passed away on March 28, 2015 at the age of 73.

“I’m X, who was a colleague of your father at X company. Your father called me during the first election. Good luck,” he said.
While looking at some documents at my parents’ house, I found a list of the companies my father worked for, and the names of people who lived in my constituency were marked in pink highlighter.
I am simply grateful that my late father supported his son without even realizing it.

With a rice farmer in Kanno-ku, Yachiyo City. Just before my father passed away, he could barely eat anything, but he was able to eat the Milky Queen rice that this farmer made. What is Milky Queen?
This low-amylose rice was developed by further improving Koshihikari as part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries’ Super Rice Project.
After cooking, the rice shines and has a chewy texture, sweetness, and softness, making it delicious to eat.
Furthermore, this rice does not harden easily even when cooled, making it ideal for rice balls and bento lunches.

My younger brother graduated from Waseda University and was a member of the rugby club.
