Tokyo City Horse Racing (hereinafter referred to as TCK) today held the Grand Prix Race “68th Tokyo Grand Prize (GI)”, which is the total settlement of dirt horse racing. TCK’s image characters, Nanao and Jun Shison, made live appearances on live horse racing programs and presenters at awards ceremonies.
Nanao, who appeared in a cool all-black dress, and Shison, who appeared in a black jacket, dark gray pants, and bow tie. When asked about her impressions of the grand prize, Nanao said, “The enthusiasm of the fans is amazing, and I’m very happy to be able to share this excitement with everyone!” I thought this was the fun of horse racing!”
As for the race predictions, Nanao-san has hit two races, the Nanao Award and the Tokyo Grand Prize. “I’ve used up all my luck for the year (laughs),” she joked. Fans cheered for this. On the other hand, Mr. Shison focused on Ushbatesoro, who won the championship in the pre-event program of the Tokyo Grand Prix, but he expected Sunrise Hope in the broadcast program just before. It was a result that realized the difficulty of horse racing, saying, “I thought it was horse racing, including this.”
After serving as presenters for the awards ceremony, the two men and jockey Kazuo Yokoyama, the winning jockey, smiled and waved to the fans.
