Hi all! I want to complain regarding how the home Internet service from the Beeline operator works. I know the claim may seem like a stretch! There are complaints regarding home Internet, no matter who provides it, everywhere and always.
But for some reason, Beeline has special problems that are absolutely inexplicable.
Let me explain the situation more specifically. Let’s say there is a site with absolutely harmless content. Or even any application that works via the Internet and connects to a remote server.
Consistently several times a week, one or another site does not work for me. And some applications and programs, including professional ones, cannot contact the servers. Outwardly it looks like a complete loss of communication, but in fact everything works. I just can’t open what I need. I switch to mobile Internet, and everything is like clockwork, no problems!
I specially changed the router, bought a good model for 10 thousand rubles, nothing has changed.
In games I constantly notice high pings that skyrocket out of the blue. It’s like packets are being lost for no reason. There are no Internet consumers in the apartment except me, so it’s not clear what’s going on here other than the work of the provider itself.
The speed also jumps. At a rate of 300 megabits at the same time of day there can be 90, 50, 150 according to speed tests, and this ceiling does not change and is confirmed by several such services.
On marketplaces and other sites where there is a definition of geolocation accurate to the city, they slip me anything except Moscow. I’ve already been to Irkutsk, Saratov and other wonderful cities, according to Beeline’s magical allocation of IP addresses.
Neighbors with other providers do not experience such problems; I alone regularly sit and look at the white pages, trying to figure out later: is it Beeline today messing around with an incomprehensible blocking of addresses for no reason, or the Internet has completely fallen off.
It is clear that ideal providers do not exist, but in the six months following switching to Beeline home Internet, it was as if I had rolled back 15 years ago, when regular interruptions and inexplicable drops in speed were the norm for everyone.
And yes, contacting technical support gives approximately the same result: either everything is fine on their side, or “technical work is being carried out.” And, of course, where without the classics regarding rebooting the router!
I am writing here in the hope of collecting feedback from other Beeline home Internet users. Am I really the only one with inexplicably inaccessible sites and ping jumps into space? It would be nice if it were just mobile Internet, but it’s cable…
