As he initially said: “My father’s car doesn’t exactly reflect our wealth back then. He had a Rolls Royce and a white van. My dad in the 80s was a businessman, he started his business with my mom and it did very well, so he bought himself a Rolls-Royce.”
He then added: ‘We went to a normal school and we didn’t live in a big house and as soon as he was making money he went and bought himself a Rolls-Royce. One day we would go to school in the Rolls-Royce and the next day we would go in the truck. He was an electrical wholesaler and he was very hardworking.”
As she later said, both she and her siblings did not want to go to school in the luxury car, as they felt they “didn’t fit in with the other kids”.
Victoria Beckham also spoke about her relationship with David Beckham and how it has changed over the years. “Let me tell you, David Beckham is very funny. I have a husband that I am still very much in love with, probably more than when we first met. We really laugh together. And we really support each other when it comes to our careers and our passions,” he emphasized.
Finally, she added: “David and I can go somewhere together, just the two of us and laugh and enjoy the moment. And I think that is so rare after all these years. It’s a moment I enjoy every day.”
