“I’m still trying to direct it”

Almost 4 years ago, Steve Thomson won nearly 120 million euros at the Euromillions. A sum that made this 45-year-old mason even richer than footballer Harry Kane or singer Cheryl Cole, report our colleagues from the Sun.

The man then promised to help his family, friends and the local community. “I live in a small village, it’s a nice village, I don’t want to leave it, so whatever I can do for the community, I will,” he said at the time.

A word he kept because, with his wife Lenka, the millionaire donated 200,000 euros to their town of Selsey, in West Sussex. The couple also donated 50,000 euros to the local medical center to finance new equipment and allow residents to go less far for their consultation.

Steve then donated another €50,000 to his sons’ school and yet another €100,000 to the local cricket club for the construction of a new clubhouse.

“He’s not the type to want to be recognized for having done something good,” commented someone close to Steve.

Steve Thomson has not forgotten his family, however. Indeed, the mason has invested in a sumptuous property of 4.5 million euros. And among the neighbors of his huge farm located in Kent, there are Hollywood actors, rock stars and even computer magnates.

“The children finally have their own room. It’s a simple thing, but that’s all they wanted,” Steve shared at the time. “I still haven’t gotten over what happened to us and, honestly, I’m still trying to process it. We are very lucky! “.

Finally, the father of the family has also placed “tens of millions” of euros in order to keep a financial windfall for the years to come.
