Kevin de Bruyne has been loyal to Manchester City since 2015, and he has won everything with the club.
But as the Belgian has grown older, his future at the club has also been a subject of discussion. Among other things, he has been rumored to clubs in MLS and Saudi Arabia.
In an interview with Dutch HLN, he announces – at the moment, the star player wants to continue playing in the light blue jersey.
– Stay in the City? Yes, yes… I have read many headlines about a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia, but I have not spoken to anyone, he tells the newspaper and continues:
– I have never indicated that I want to leave.
At the same time, the midfielder does not boast that the Saudi or American steals are alluring.
– I have more than enough money. But if an absurd sum is presented, then it is also about my family, my relatives, my grandchildren, great-grandchildren and my friends, he says.
Kevin De Bruyne’s contract with Manchester City expires in the summer of 2025.
