Im Seong-jae, tied for 8th in the first competition of the new year, climbed two steps to 24th in the world ranking

Seongjae Lim (24, CJ Korea Express), who entered the top 10 in the Sentry Tournament of Champions, the first tournament of the PGA Tour in 2022, rose to 24th in the world rankings.

In the men’s golf world ranking announced on the 10th (Korean time), Im Seong-jae recorded 4.0246 points in the rankings, and moved up two places from 26th last week to 24th.

Seongjae Lim finished tied for 8th at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, which ended on the same day, with an at-bat in his 60s for four days in a row. In the 2021-22 season, Seongjae Im is on an upward trend, recording 1 win in 5 competitions and 3 in the top 10.

Cameron Smith (Australia), who won the Sentry Tournament of Champions by recording a 34-under 258 shot and setting a new record for most under-pars on the PGA Tour 72 holes, jumped 11 places to No. 10 in the world rankings.

Meanwhile, Spain’s Jon Lam maintained the world No. 1 ranking. Colin Morikawa (USA) in second place and Dustin Johnson (USA) in third place.
