Im Seong-jae tied for 6th place by 7 strokes at the 3M Open… Pierce 4 strokes 1st place

Seongjae Im (24)’s second win of the season was not easy.

Sungjae Lim hit a 4-under par 67 in the third round of the 3M Open ($7.5 million total prize money) of the PGA Tour held at TPC Twin Cities (par 71) in Blaine, Minnesota, USA on the 24th (Korean time), but ranked fell two places from the previous day to tied for sixth place (11 under par 202).

Scott Pierce (USA), who took the lead with an 18-under 195 stroke by reducing five strokes, widened the batting gap by seven more.

Im Seong-jae, who took the lead on the first day and turned on the prospect of winning the second season of the season, challenges a difficult comeback in the final round.

In the third round, which lasted more than 10 hours, as the game was suspended and resumed due to bad weather, Seongjae Lim pulled out 7 birdies, but 3 bogeys were disappointing.

Pierce, who won four PGA Tour victories, took the lead for three days in a row following the first and second rounds, and is close to winning the first championship in four years since the Zurich Classic in April 2018.

Emiliano Grillo (Argentina) finished in second place (14 under par 199), four shots behind.

Korean Doug Kim (USA) and Tony Finau (USA) finished tied for third with a 13-under 200 stroke.

Kim Joo-hyeong (20) hit a 4-under par 67, raising the ranking to a tie for 24th (5-under-par 208).

Kim Joo-hyung, who started the game on the 10th hole, gave strength by catching the eagle entering the hole with his second shot with 135 yards left on the first hole (par 4).

Noh Seung-yeol (31), who hit 2-under 69, tied for 31st (4-under-par 209) and finished the final round.
