“I’m not a robot”: PlayTV closes unprecedented partnership to show Korean drama in Brazil

The miniseries “I’m not a robot” can be seen in PlayTV, channel dedicated to pop culture, geek universe and gamer. The novelty is the result of an unprecedented partnership with Probrazil Media, a licensee of Korean soap operas dubbed for Brazilian audiences. The drama in question will arrive for the first time and premiere this Wednesday (9).

This production will then be shown daily throughout the channel’s programming. In this way, anyone who is a fan of Korean works will be able to access this story through PlayTV, either by subscribing to the channel or streaming, always from 7 pm to 8 pmwith reruns of 11am to 12pm.

Exciting and engaging, “I’m Not a Robot” is a story about the inevitable process of overcoming the hurts in our lives. The protagonist created a shield in his heart after a painful heartbreak and has lived in total isolation ever since. However, his world is turned upside down when he meets someone truly extraordinary, and the interaction with that unique person leads him to discover how to break through the barriers of isolation and find happiness again.

The miniseries stars the actor Yoo Seung Hoowho acted in her child phase in the film The Way Home. The cast also includes the actress Chae Soo-binwho starred in the television series Love in the Moonlight and gained wide recognition for his role in the production.

This is considered a historic event for PlayTV, which will become the first Brazilian TV channel to show Korean soap operas on its schedule. Leonardo Zaleman is Director of Content and Digital Channels at PlayTV and was excited about the news:
