Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his gratitude for the passage by the US House of Representatives of a bill to help his country in its war once morest Russia.
“I am grateful to the US House of Representatives, both parties, and personally to Speaker (Ret. of the House) Mike Johnson for the decision to stay on the right side of history,” Zelensky posted on X.
The Ukrainian president stressed that the bill, which will be passed by the US Senate, “will prevent the expansion of the war, save thousands and thousands of lives and help both of our nations become stronger.”
