Meghan Markle recently released the latest episode of his podcast titled The Decoding Crazy. He spoke with actresses Constance Wu, Jenny Slate, and Deepika Padukone.
In the latest episode of the Archetypes podcast, Meghan Markle discusses the calling she has received from society. He did not explain in detail whether he heard it himself or spoke about public perception, but the mother of two admitted that she was labeled crazy, crazy, and irrational.
“Raise your hand if you’ve ever been called crazy or hysterical. Or what about crazy, crazy, insane, and utterly irrational?” said Meghan Markle.
“You get the point. Now if we’re in the same room, able to see each other, I think it’ll be pretty easy to see the person raising their hand. Because by the way, I’m raising my hand too,” he continued.
Meghan Markle said the word was thrown shamelessly in her face. This, according to Meghan, is one of the causes of the damage inflicted on society and women.
“From the relationship between each other to the broken family. Reputations destroyed. Careers destroyed,” said Meghan Markle.
He then discussed the depiction of ‘crazy’ women in a number of sitcoms. Meghan Markle mentions How I Met Your Mother to Scrubs as sitcoms that represent this.
“The use of these labels is forced into us through movies and TV, from friends and family, even from random strangers,” he added.
“In fact, no one wants to be called by that label,” Meghan Markle said.
The name for Meghan Markle does not only come from the community. Discussed some time ago through the book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown written by Valentine Low, a number of staff have a special call for Prince Harry’s wife.
According to royal staff, Meghan Markle is often said to have hurt them. There are many treatments that scare the staff, such as often cursing and doing what they want.
Low also revealed a nickname Meghan Markle given by the royal staff. They called the mother of two a ‘narcissistic sociopath’.
“Everyone knows this institution will be judged by Meghan’s happiness. The mistake they made was to think Meghan wanted to be happy,” said one former staff member quoted by Low in his book.
“Meghan actually wanted to be rejected. Because she was obsessed with the narrative from day one,” he explained.
