Washington: A woman who was stuck in a car for 18 hours in a heavy snowfall in Buffalo, New York, died. Andelle Taylor, 22, died. The car in which the woman was traveling got stuck in a heavy snowfall on her way home from work on Friday followingnoon.
While trapped inside the car, the woman sent a video message to her family. Andel sends two videos of the raging blizzard around him saying ‘I’m scared’. The first video with scenes of the entire car covered in snow was sent to the family group at 4.15. The second video is also on Christmas night. The woman’s sister Shonika Brown told the media that Andel was very scared. And following some time lost contact with Andel. Andel was found in the car hours later.
A severe winter in the United States is causing major damage. So far, 27 deaths have been reported in New York and 60 across the US in heavy snow and storms dubbed the ‘blizzard of the century’. There are also reports that many people are trapped in different places.

Official information said that more damage was done in Buffalo, New York. The bodies of those who died in the heavy snowfall were found inside the vehicles. Local officials said rescue efforts were ongoing in the snow-covered area around Buffalo. The storm followed by heavy snowfall caused massive traffic jams. Cars, buses, ambulances and torus trucks are stuck on the road. The snowfall is so heavy that even emergency aid cannot be delivered to many places.
