While Egypt is still under the impact of shock following A student slaughtered his colleague in front of the university gate in the city of Mansoura North of Cairo, the confessions of the accused of killing Naira Ashraf appeared in public.
According to the Public Prosecution’s investigations obtained by local media, the accused, Muhammad Adel, resolved to kill Naira, in retaliation for her refusal to associate with him, and the failure of his multiple attempts to force her to do so.
The accused also added that although he signed a pledge not to harm her, he wanted to take his right from her, saying: “It was in my mind that I was taking my right from her.”
He set a plan to kill her, and set a date for her to perform the exams at the end of the academic year at Mansoura University, to carry out the crime.

The accused also revealed that he works as a cook and knows how to use knives well, saying: “I know that the protective knife is the one that can be slaughtered, and that it is used in this and I use it well because this is my job.”
And he added, “I am aware of the fatal places on her body, which are the neck and chest on the side of the heart, thigh, and stabbing with a weapon,” noting that he bought the knife on June 1, 2022.

It is noteworthy that the city of Mansoura witnessed a heinous crime on June 20, when a student of his university colleague was slaughtered in front of the gate of her college. The passers-by were surprised by a student who slaughtered his female colleague in front of Toshka Gate at the Faculty of Arts, following a verbal argument between them, while the people managed to catch him.
Investigations revealed that a verbal altercation broke out between the student, Mohamed Adel, and his colleague Naira Ashrafwhich developed into a quarrel, in which the student slaughtered Naira from her neck, which led to her instantly falling dead.
