Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Electricity Administration (ANDE) redoubles efforts to prepare the electrical distribution system in the city of San Bernardino, where the highest consumer demand is concentrated during the summer season.
To this end, the president of ANDE, Félix Sosa, executives and officials from the Directorate of Regional Management, Distribution, as well as the Directorate of Telematics and Intelligent Networks, participated in an operational meeting, with a view to the summer.
During his speech, Sosa mentioned that works are carried out annually to substantially improve the electrical distribution and public lighting system in the aforementioned city, to provide quality service to its clients.
The San Bernardino 2024-2025 summer operation includes the execution of works to replace bare conductors with protected conductors, comprehensive SIM MT maintenance on the seven 23,000 volt lines of the Altos and Itauguá substations that feed the city of San Bernardino.
As well as the cutting of branches on lines, maintenance in 400 areas of low voltage distribution transformers and increase in power, improvement of the public lighting system, among others, through a planned investment of approximately G. 15,300,000,000.
The execution of the works contemplated in the San Bernardino Operation will be carried out by 15 ANDE crews and contracting companies, the state company reported.
