Illness at the Giusti Cave, Doctor Sebastiano Rimola dies suddenly – La Nazione

Monsummano Terme, 29 August 2024 – Tragedy in the Grotta Giusti spa, where this morning, 29 August, he suddenly passed away Sebastian Rimola. He was 62 years old and was a historic doctor of the historic resort of Monsummano. The doctor, of Calabrian origin but Florentine by adoption and resident for years in Valdinievole where he had worked as a doctor for almost 20 years, had entered service regularly in Giusti Cave as on every shift. During the morning, however, he had complained of pain in his arm but, as he had also explained to those present, he attributed the discomfort to a physical job he had done in the previous days.

Then, shortly after 12, he decided to call 118 himself so that an ambulance could come to his aid. As soon as the volunteers arrived on site of the Mercy of Monsummano They immediately worked to understand what was happening when suddenly Dr. Rimola felt ill, fainting before their eyes. The medical car also arrived promptly on site while resuscitation operations were already underway. Despite the efforts of health workersthe doctor didn’t make it.

Dr. Rimola was a well-known and respected person in the environment, where he had been working for about 20 years. He had graduated in medicine in Florence specializing in phytotherapy clinic at the ASL of Empoli and then training in disciplines such as PNEI, mind body medicine, emotional intelligence for the management of stress and emotions, nutraceuticals and brainfitness.
