If you are a fan of the Ghostbusters franchise you will be happy to learn that IllFonic (Friday the 13th: The Game, Predator: Hunting Grounds) has just unveiled a video of the game Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. The latter will be a 4 vs 1 asymmetrical multiplayer game in which a ghost player will try to escape the four hunters. IllFonic let it be known that it will also be possible to play it solo (hunter and ghost), while the teams will be filled thanks to ”bots”. The title is expected on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series by the end of 2022.
Play as a ghost hunter accompanied by three teammates as you hunt down a ghost in different places (prisons, museums, hotels). You can also choose to embody a ghost in order to terrorize civilians. You will also be able to run away from Ghostbusters by warping around the map using the Rifts. Get missions from Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson), meet new and old friends like Dan Aykroyd’s Ray Stantz. Here is a cross-platform game that will appeal to fans of the franchise.
