Florida: An 11-year-old girl was arrested for making a false complaint once morest the American police. The incident happened last Wednesday in Florida, USA. She sent an SMS to the police control room number 911 saying that her 14-year-old friend had been assaulted by a gunman.

It was included in the message that the person who came in a white van hit and drove away and that this vehicle is located in Oak Hill. On learning this, police officers from Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange rushed here.

But it was confirmed that no van or person was seen in this area as the boy said. The boy continued to provide more ‘updates’ to 911 as police investigated.

Suspecting whether the complaint was true, the police found the mobile phone location of the message and rushed there. Officers soon arrived at a home in the city and found the child who had sent the message.

The boy admitted to the police that it was a prank as part of a challenge on YouTube and that what he said was a lie. The officer in the group asked the boy if what he had done was wrong and how much time the police had spent on this.

The New York Post reported that the child was arrested under the Juvenile Act, and that the police are not a service that should be provided to anyone else, and that stalking is a crime.
