Urban violence has been observed in many cities in Île-de-France the two previous nights following the death of the 17-year-old teenager, killed by police fire during a traffic check.

The main operator in the region, the RATP, has specified that its trams and buses will gradually stop until 9 p.m. “The Metro and RER networks should circulate normally”, she added in a press release.
“We invite all travelers to make arrangements to anticipate their trips now,” said the Régie.
No buses or trams either in the Lille metropolis, from 8:00 p.m., indicated at the end of the followingnoon the manager of the Ilevia network, on “recommendations from the prefecture and the police”. The metros will run normally.
