IKEA should complete its range of small home automation sensors sold at low prices. However, they will not be available immediately. Two of the three upcoming products had been seen in the approval process in the United States, these are the Parasoll opening sensor and the Vallhorn motion detector. Ikea already sells a connected motion detector, the Wireless for €10. The Vallhorn has a rather square design. According to HomeKitNewshe is foreseen for January at around $10 or $12, it should stay in the same pricing waters once in euros.

Finally, new at IKEA, a water leak sensor, the Badring. For example, it will be placed near a washing machine or a capricious pipe. This accessory would not arrive before next April, but still in this very accessible price range.

All three are designed to work with IKEA’s latest Dirigera gateway, launched just a year ago (at €60 then for €70 now). It was accompanied by a new mobile control app, IKEA Home Smart.
