The National Resilience Institute Alumni Association (IKAL Lemhanas) will hold the 2024 Agum Gumelar Cup golf tournament at the Modern Golf Club, Tangerang, on July 14.
The tournament carries the mission of strengthening family ties and building togetherness in the extended IKAL Lemhanas family.
“I ask that IKAL members continue to knit together the unity and integrity of the nation. In addition to fostering ties of friendship internally, it is also a means for us to foster friendship with the sports community, the golf community,” said the General Chairperson of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of IKAL Lemhanas Agum Gumelar.
“The success of a golf tournament is determined by three things. First, there are many participants. Second, there are many and attractive prizes, so we have prepared quite attractive prizes. Third, the entertainment is good,” said Agum.
The Agum Gumelar Cup golf competition is planned to last a full day. According to the committee, in addition to competing for trophies, there will also be a car prize for golfers who are able to score a hole in one.
The tournament is the second following being first held in September 2022 at the same location.
This year’s tournament edition targets 150 participants from IKAL Lemhanas circles as well as the golf community and the general public. (Z-7)
