New York: The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) banned Israel from the competitions for an indefinite period.

In a press conference, the organization announced that Israel is being banned from the IIHF Championships until the safety of all competitors is confirmed.

The IIHF has decided to ban Israel from the championships. A statement released by the IIHF said, “Israel will not participate in the IIHF competitions due to concerns over the safety of all competitors participating in the championships.”
