THE electro pop wave has had a huge influence on the world of music. This genre has given birth to many new sub-genres and inspired musicians/bands from various generations. One of the bands present carrying the electro pop genre is Ihateband. Ihateband is fronted by Harry Miswar (guitar, vocals), Ekky Setiawan (drums), Putra Herlambang (guitar), Alvin Wisuda Febriansyah (keyboards) and Trustyantoro (bass).

This band from Jakarta has just released their first single entitled Where Does My Brain Run on November 9 2024 digitally. The single Where My Brain Runs was released under their own label, Ihate Records. The single Where My Brain Runs tells the story of someone’s loyalty to another person who is considered worthless. Everything he tried was in vain, and finally he chose to be alone.

“We hope that the music produced by Ihateband will get the attention of music lovers and be appreciated or enjoyed in a good way,” said Harry Miswar, the vocalist in a press release received by Media Indonesia, Monday (11/11).

Ihateband started as a solo project for the vocalist whose intention was to stop playing music. However, after a while he decided not to stop and got support from other personnel friends to record and produce music again. (Z-9)
