Many countries would not let their president give a speech alone in the middle of the crowd. Yet this is what we see in the image taken from above of Ignazio Cassis in Schaffhausen. The President of the Confederation is literally surrounded by the population, which is only a few steps from him. We can certainly distinguish what looks like bodyguards, also surrounding the other federal advisers, but confidence seems to be in order.
This photo was published this Thursday, June 30 by André Simonazzi, the spokesperson for the Confederation during the traditional school race of the seven Elders. In particular, they went to the Rhine Falls and therefore to Schaffhausen.
