World number one tennis player Iga Swiatek had to work hard to beat world number 26 tennis player from the Czech Rep. Linda Noskova 6-7 (7/9), 6-4 and 6-4 in the Miami Open match, Monday (25/3) WIB.
A day following Swiatek’s arch rival, Aryna Sabalenka, was eliminated from the Miami Open, the Polish tennis player had to fight hard to overcome Noskova’s resistance.
The Czech Rep. beat Swiatek in the third round of this year’s Australian Open before the four-time Grand Slam player took revenge at the Indian Wells Masters.
The third meeting this year between the two was a tight affair.

After losing through a tie-break battle in the first set and forcing the match into rubber sets, Swiatek was in danger of having her serve broken when she was leading 5-4 in the final set.
However, Swiatek stepped up her game to take the next 5 points and take the win.
In the last 16 of the Miami Open, Tuesday (26/3) WIB, Swiatek will face 14th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova, who beat fellow Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-4, 3-6 and 6-3. (AFP/Z-1)
