Sad news came from Baradasar band member Iga Massardi because his father, writer Yudhistira Andi Noegraha Moelyana (ANM) Massardi, passed away. Iga also expressed his heart and remembered his father through his personal Instagram account, @igamassardi.
“Like the poem you wrote, now you live forever. Through the words in each reading, in the hearts of all of us. Get some rest, Dad. “I’ll take papa there,” he wrote in an upload of a self-portrait of his father wearing an orange jacket with the words ‘Whatever It Takes’.
Even though he was grieving, Iga revealed that he felt relieved because he knew his father was a good person.
“It’s always comforting to know that the people we love, during their lifetime, planted goodness in other people’s lives,” he said.
“Today I testify that you are a good person. “Various stories about all his goodness make sadness turn into emotion,” he continued.
Yudhistira, explained Iga, is a figure who has various roles for many people. He also wrote his thanks to his father.

“Artist, teacher, friend, and father to many. “Thanks, Pap, I’ve been reminded forever,” said Iga.
Iga also thanked everyone, both those who came to the funeral and expressed their condolences, and those who prayed from a distance.
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend, deliver, write kind messages of prayer, and send silent prayers from a distance. “Everything really means a lot to us as a family on this difficult day,” wrote Iga, closing his Instagram story.

For your information, Yudhistira Massardi is a prominent writer. Born in Subang on February 28 1954, he started writing when he was in junior high school. His writings are often published in several local newspapers.
The novel ‘Arjuna Looking for Love’ (1977) is one of Yudhistira’s most popular and historical works.
Not submissive to the New Order era, Yudhistira uses a typical youth writing style in the novel. Arjuna Looking for Love was also named the best youth novel in 1977 from the Main Book Foundation. (Z-1)
