The Islamabad High Court has said that the IG and the Chief Commissioner will tell how the police went inside the Parliament.

Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard the case against the arrest of Member National Assembly Zain Qureshi from inside the Parliament on September 10.

Zain Qureshi’s lawyers Barrister Taimur Malik and Faiza Malik appeared in the court while DSP Legal Sajid Cheema and State Council also appeared in the court.

The Islamabad High Court asked the State Council to submit a report within a week, asking how the arrest took place inside the Parliament. Submit the report as per the rules of the National Assembly.

Chief Justice Amir Farooq asked what happened to everyone who had sent notices? To which the State Council replied that the report could not be submitted, give some time.
