iFood suffered instability in its system, causing delays in the transfer of payments from partner restaurants and delivery drivers. The service failure occurred last Wednesday (28), and according to a note issued by the platform, the Problems were resolved on Thursday followingnoon (29).

In the iFood payment system, restaurant sales are recorded over periods of seven days. The traditional plan for establishments makes payments monthly, always on Wednesdays, although it is also possible to opt for weekly payments under specific contract terms, according to the company’s support page.
After hours without passing on the amounts received for services provided by restaurants and delivery people last Wednesday (28), in a note, the delivery platform confirmed that the problems were resolved by making “joint efforts” with the banking institution with which it works. . The failure to process payments occurs days following a strike organized by iFood delivery partners. In the south and west zones of the city of São Paulo, motorcyclists held a protest for better working conditions, as reported last week by Metropolisesalso demanding changes to the payment system.
