Division 1 team Ariana FC really disturbed IFK Göteborg – in just under an hour.
Then Lucas Kåhed scored two quick goals and pushed Blåvitt further into the Swedish Cup.
– In the end we get it done and that’s the only thing that counts, says Kåhed.
Chance on chance, on chance.
It was almost a change of attack on handball men during the opening of the cup qualifiers at the Malmö stadium.
Several dangerous scoring chances belonged to Ariana FC, who made their debut in Division 1 last year after seven consecutive league promotions since the club was founded in 2015.
– It feels a little too even to be the match picture we want, said Gothenburg captain Emil Salomonsson during the break.
There were no goals until the 55th minute.

First goal this year
It was IFK Göteborg’s offensive midfielder Lucas Kåhed, 22, who found the right thing – with his first goal since the closing Allsvenskan round last year.
Five minutes later he was upright again and extended it to 2-0 on a rebound, which also became the final result despite Ariana hitting the post in the closing stages.
– It was very nice, of course! It’s always a special match to play. In the end we get it done and that’s the only thing that counts, says Kåhed.
No rattles
Ariana’s Albin Sjöstrand Bjurnamark thinks the team created enough to score both one and two goals.
– It is the last little thing that is missing, otherwise it could have been an even match, he says.
In the other cup arenas, there were no big bangers. First in the super league, Landskrona defeated Falkenberg (1st in division 1) 2–0 away from home. Oddevold won by the same numbers against Täby, Gefle beat Huddinge and Varberg won easily against Simrishamn.
Superettan team Brage came away with their breath in their throats after turning a 0-1 deficit into a 2-1 extra-time win against Division 2 team Enskede.
