To enable it you have to go to Settings, tap on your name and then choose Find My.
Tap on Find My iPhone and launch Find My iPhone.
But if your phone is buried under a pile of things the map might not be good.
Thankfully, iCloud lets you “ping” your phone, forcing it to sound a quick alarm — helping you track it down.
Another method that might be easier for Apple Watch owners: Just swipe up on your watch screen, then tap the button that looks like an iPhone with sound waves on it.
Alternatively, anyone with another Apple gadget — such as an iPhone, iPad, or iPad touch — can download the Find My Phone app.
Once the app is installed, click on the iPhone you lost and then hit the Play Audio button.
This will force your iPhone to make a noise, even if it’s on silent mode.
If you don’t have other Apple devices, your next best option is to log into the iCloud link.
You can access Find My iPhone feature and play audio on iPhone.
Using Find My iPhone is a very useful feature – even apart from the iPhone’s noise system.
