To record and send a video message, the user must tap the microphone button in the chat bar of a conversation. If the button turns into a video camera icon, it means that the function is now available for use. When sending or receiving a video message, you will need to click on the video to enlarge it so that you can hear the audio.

This new feature allows video messages to be recorded and sent in real time, ensuring greater authenticity in communication. Furthermore, video messages will have end-to-end encryptionwhich means that only people involved in the conversation will be able to access them.

The video messaging function is gradually rolling out to users who install the latest version of WhatsApp beta on iOS and Android devices. Keep an eye on WhatsApp updates and official pages to learn more regarding the launch of this new feature.
