What do you do if you notice bruises on your body for no reason?.. You start wondering why they happen and should you worry, and what causes this?
In the report, here are the causes and health problems for the appearance of these bruises, according to the Prideside website, as follows:
1. Diabetes:
Blood and sugar are the first things that come to mind when this is mentioned, as diabetes negatively affects the circulatory process, so it is easy to bruise, and bruises can also be a symptom of this disease at a very early stage.
Other symptoms: You’re often thirsty, wounds heal longer, you tire quickly and your vision is blurred, and you have white patches on your skin.
2. Hormonal imbalance:
One of the most common causes of bruising is hormonal “fluctuations,” which can appear if you have low estrogen.
This can happen if you are going through menopause, taking hormonal medications, or when you are pregnant. The lack of estrogen hormone significantly weakens the blood vessels and the capillary walls can be damaged very easily.
3. Nutrient deficiency:
Some unexplained bruising may be a signal that the body lacks the necessary elements.
For example, B12 is involved in blood production, vitamin K is responsible for clotting, and vitamin C plays a vital role in the formation of new tissues, without which blood vessels become very fragile.
Another important vitamin is P, without which collagen production is impossible, and the vessels become thinner, which deteriorates the condition of the skin.
Iron balance is very important for the body, so when there is a deficiency or too much of it, the capillaries worsen.
The source of vitamin B is fresh green tea, apples, pumpkin and garlic. You can get vitamin K in bananas, eggs, nuts and fatty fish, and vitamin B12 is found in liver, fish, cheese and lettuce.
4. Blood diseases:
Diseases of the blood and vessels can cause bruising, and varicose veins, thrombocytopenia or leukemia are often the result of circulatory problems.
So don’t postpone a visit to the doctor, especially if you notice other worrisome symptoms, such as: pain and swelling in the legs, bleeding gums, small hairy spots on the body, or nosebleeds.
5. Take medication:
Taking certain medications that affect the blood can cause bruising that can vary from almost nonexistent to very serious.
Most of the time, it’s caused by antidepressants, analgesics, anti-inflammatory medications, iron-containing medications, or anti-asthma medications.
The most common medication that makes blood more liquid and can lead to bruising is aspirin.
If you notice the relationship between taking medications and inflammation on your skin, you should go to a specialist, as you may need to stop taking the medication to avoid internal bleeding.
6. Weight training and heavy lifting:
Too much exercise can damage the capillaries, for example, weight training can become dangerous if you are not prepared for it.
Even kids are prone to getting these bruises, because of the heavy school bags these days that they can barely carry.
