The fact is that this car was found not somewhere in the house of criminals, but in the garage of an employee of the prosecutor’s office from Osh, Almazbek Abzhaliev, who is brought by the younger brother of ex-deputy Aliyarbek Abzhaliev. The latter, we recall, at one time became related to President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, which opened up wider spaces for him.
Lawyer Aliya Turumbekova, who represents the injured party, is convinced that this case once once more confirmed her opinion that in our country the division into social strata does not stop.
“In fact, in many situations they look at the position, social status and wallet of a person, which is also practiced in criminal cases. They abducted a person, stole his Range Rover car, which was later found in the possession of Almazbek Abzhaliev, an employee of the Osh prosecutor’s office.
In this regard, the actions of the oversight body as a whole are outraged, whose employees in Osh did not at all allow police officers to bring Abzhaliev for interrogation to the investigating authorities, referring to the constitutional law, they say that only a higher prosecutor has the right to interrogate a prosecutor. For a minute! Abzhaliev did not commit an official crime in order to be interrogated by a higher prosecutor. His testimony is in any case necessary to establish involvement in robbery and attempted murder. After all, it was he who had the main physical evidence found, and everything else in this situation does not matter,” she said.
The lawyer added that from the moment Abzhaliev was detained, that is, at the place where the car was found, and until the next day, two legends were invented.
“He even tried to persuade an unknown guy who, having learned regarding the crime, disowned him. And his testimony is regarding a neighbor. I think there will soon be a “neighbor” who will take over everything. Also, I’m not surprised that they removed the video surveillance footage from the parking lot.
But besides this, the Issyk-Ata prosecutor’s office is putting pressure on the police officers for returning the car to its rightful owner. In this regard, an audit has even begun regarding the issuance of physical evidence for safekeeping to the victim. That is, as if all conditions are being created to enable Abzhaliev to evade responsibility. If instead of him an ordinary person without status and money, he would have been in jail for a long time,” she added.
