With Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone arriving next Wednesday, July 24, we are getting more and more information regarding the content coming in that update. Now, Activision just announced the return of the Superstore, an iconic Warzone point of interest from the time of Verdansk with Modern Warfare 1 to Urzikstan.
In a humorous clip posted on social media, Activision revealed that Atlas Superstore is coming to Urzikstan:
If you haven’t had the chance to experience Warzone in Verdansk, the Superstore is one of the most iconic locations on the map.
It was always a favorite landing spot for players looking to secure those high-kill matches. Whether you prefer to land directly on the rooftop and engage in long-range battles or you launched yourself through doors and beat down players in the closed hallways of the store itself, you’ll be visiting it once more on July 24.
Superstore won’t be the only thing returning to Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone
In addition to the iconic point of interest coming to Urzikistan, Activision has released the first images of Season 5 that reference none other than Valeria, one of the antagonists in the Modern Warfare 2 story along with her entourage.
As with every new Season of Call of Duty, new content will be coming to Multiplayer such as maps and game modes, new additions to the general gameplay of Warzone, new weapons, a new Battle Pass with a wealth of unlockable content, new content for Modern Warfare Zombies, and weekly events.
For now, we already know that Activision is preparing a crossover between Call of Duty and WWE which is expected to see the arrival of operators with the appearance of some iconic WWE wrestler and special game modes.
