Icon of The Seas will cross the Caribbean Sea next January. But there will be no stopovers in Guadeloupe and Martinique for the largest liner in the world. The port facilities of the two islands are not yet ready to receive it. Equipped by the Royal Caribbean International Cruise, the ship will sail in the Eastern Caribbean.

365m long, 20 bridges, around 15 bars and restaurants, 7 swimming pools, 6 water slides and the highest waterfall ever built on a leisure ship. The “Icon of the Seas”, the icon of the seas, is the largest ocean liner in the world, the largest floating village ever built.

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on one’s point of view, he will not stop over with us next year, neither in Guadeloupe nor in Martinique.
Its 7-day course in the Eastern Caribbean includes only a few stopovers. “Only” the islands of Sint Maarten, Saint-Kitts and Nevis, Saint-Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and Cococay Island, the private island of Royal Caribbean International in the Bahamas, will host the “Icon of the Seas”.
If we are not on its route, it is quite simply because we do not yet have the appropriate infrastructure to receive such a large liner.
The Icon of The Seas can accommodate up to 7,600 passengers and 2,350 crew members. It features an aquatic theater and a park, with thousands of living plants.
In order to reduce its emissions, the ship is propelled by liquefied natural gas. Other state-of-the-art technologies are planned for the production of electricity and fresh water on board.
Unreasonable? Indecent? Vulgar? Perhaps in any case, reservations for the 2024 season are almost complete.
