Nice – CHAMONIX
The Chamoniards distributed enough Christmas presents to their opponents to allow them to lead 5-2 at the end of the second half. Despite two goals in the final third, it was too late to come back to the score, and the Pioneers left Nice three points. A very bad start after the break, a very insufficient power play and above all a lot of errors.
The Niçois opened the scoring through Esipov, before Lopachuk brought the tie back, but four minutes later it was Kuronon who gave the locals the advantage again. The second half was the worst for Chamonix with three new goals from Nice including one in numerical inferiority, against a reply by Terrier at the end of the period.
Salio brought back some hope from the start of the final third, but a numerical superiority allowed Nice to widen the gap. Four minutes from time, Gabriel Chabot found the net to bring back the Pioneers and Luca Mugnier who had replaced Tom Aubrun left his cage to create the surplus, in vain.
Chamonix lost after a failed match and too many gifts to its opponent, notably numerical superiority situations which were very costly (4 goals scored by Nice in power play).

Amiens – GAP
By winning this Friday evening in Amiens, Gap ended a series of 6 defeats in a row in the championship and gained a place in the standings (10e), after Anglet’s defeat against Grenoble. Fighting for a place in the top 8 of the regular season, the Raptors took 3 important points and regained a little confidence, as their coach Eric Blais wishes. The evening started badly for the Gapençais, trailing 1-0 after the first 20 minutes after a double superiority goal from Lavigne.
Gap equalized very quickly in the next third through Correia in superiority, but was trailed again after a goal from Suire midway through the match. In verve, the Gapençais power-play scored again with Sislannikovs at the finish this time (2-2, 36e), then Vartiainen marked his return to the lineup by making the break shortly before the break, achieved with a score of 3-2 in favor of the Haut-Alpins.

Rouen – BRIANLEADS
Trailing 2 to 0 after two minutes of play, the Briançonnais then bravely stood up to the French champion Rouen for 58 minutes to lose with a score of 6 to 4 at Île Lacroix.
