Ice hockey – La Chaux-de-Fonds in the play-off semi-finals

HC La Chaux-de-Fonds won Thursday evening the sixth match of its quarter-final of the Swiss League play-offs in Viège 3-4 ap (2-1 1-2 0-0) and qualified for the semi-finals by winning the duel 4-2.

However, the evening had started badly for the players of Thierry Paterlini. After seven minutes, the Valaisans led 2-0 thanks to successes from Dario Burgener (6’15”) and Linus Klasen (6’38”). But the Bees didn’t give up and in the 13th minute, Michael Hunterbrinker brought his team back into the game.

The second period was in La Chaux-de-Fonnière, which Ludovic Voirol (27th) and Daniel Carbis (35th) demonstrated by bringing the score to 2-3 for their colors. But Visp still had energy to equalise, which Linus Klasen did in the 38th minute.

Without a goal in the final period, the game was decided in extra time. And it only took 21 seconds for Patrick Petrini to find the fault and send his team to the next round where they will face Olten, who defeated Sierre.
