It was a goalless first period, which nevertheless offered a lot of emotions. Ten minutes into the match, both Lukas Jasek and Isac Brännström were sent off for two minutes each.
Then it really heated up.
Brännström dragged Jasek into HV71’s booth and the Oskarshamn player had to receive a lot of blows.
– What is happening?, exclaims TV4 expert Almen Bibic.
But it didn’t end there.
After Henrik Borgström scored 1-0 in the second period, the referee had a lot to do.
Amounts with expulsions
With two minutes left in the period, six expulsions were handed out, five of which went to Oskarshamn.
Just in time for the third period, the emotions calmed down somewhat, and then both 2-0 and 3-0 came. Oskar Stål Lyrenäs was first and then André Petersson.
Victor Sjöholm then ensured the final result when he put 4-0 in an empty net. Thus, HV71 have equalized in matches and the fight for continued play in the SHL continues.
– It is very fun to play matches like this. It’s electric to be there on the ice, says Anton Strålman.
