According to the ICC, the International Olympics Committee can earn between 130 and 260 million dollars from India in terms of media rights.

According to the report, the IOC’s media rights for the 2024 Paris Olympics for the Indian market were limited to $31 million.

ICC Chairman Greg Barclay says that there are more than one billion cricket fans worldwide, 90% of fans want cricket to be included in the Olympics.

On the other hand, the former mayor of Los Angeles and American Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti also expressed his desire to include cricket in the Olympics. He says that America is keen to include cricket in the Los Angeles Olympics.

It should be noted that the ICC has formed a committee under the chairmanship of J Shah to include cricket in the Olympics. The International Cricket Council has suggested that 6, 6 teams of men and women can play the T20 format in the Olympics.

On the proposal of ICC, the final decision to include cricket in the Olympics will be taken in the meeting of IOC in October this year in Mumbai.
