Dubai: India captain Mithali Raj and opener Smriti Manthan have suffered a setback in the ICC Women’s ODI rankings. Both lost two places in the new rankings. Mithali Raj dropped two places to fourth while Smriti, who shone with a half – century once morest Pakistan, dropped two places to tenth.
Meanwhile, Sneha Rana and Pooja Vastrakar, who shone once morest Pakistan, moved up in the rankings. The duo, who shone with half-centuries once morest Pakistan, reached the top of their careers. Pooja rose to 64th position in the new rankings while Sneh Rana reached the top 100.
Among the bowlers, veteran Julen Goswami retained the fourth position while all-rounder Deepti Sharma slipped one place to sixth. Australian captain Meg Lanning has moved up two places to second in the rankings for the first five matches of the World Cup. Lanning is just 15 rating points behind first-ranked Australian teammate Alyssa Healy.
