The individual allegedly took advantage of his position to overstep his authority with two young people.
In a joint operation between the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office and the SIJIN of Honda, Lawyer Javier Eudoro Camacho, 57, was capturedwho worked as a public defender for the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) in the Honda zonal center.
The arrest warrant was issued by the Mixed Court of Palocabildoafter being linked to an investigation into alleged sexual crimes.

The incident, which allegedly occurred in 2018, came to light after the victim filed a complaint in June of last year. The lawyer was already facing an investigation since 2021 for similar events.
The person arrested for alleged sexual acts against two children was in charge of the safety of the two minors in terms of restoring their rights, since they were in a home with conflicts, which, allegedly, Camacho would take advantage of the situation to take the 11 and 15 year old male children to his home where he apparently committed the abuses.

The arrested man was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities, where he will be prosecuted for the crimes of which he is accused.
